Why did she do it?

You may think that this was rude and mean but your friend only did this to protect you. If it isn't obvious to you, it sure is to me. I really think this girl loves you. I don't necessarily mean as a girlfriend/boyfriend thing but I mean she cares for you so much and she hates to see you get hurt. I would too if I saw all of this happen. These bullies who call you 'gay' and other mean names and even abuse you deserved to be told off by the principal and you know it. There is nothing right about abusing someone and I think you know it. Someday you will look back on this situation and thank your friend for saving you. But for now, don't ditch or even be mean to your friend. She's probably a nice girl and apparently she doesn't think your boring because she hasn't ditched you for the popular crowd. She's trying to help. She's reaching out to someone (the principal) that should have the authority to put an end to the bullshit you deal with at school. I know it sucks to be in your position but her heart is in the right place.

Whatever happens, always remember that high school is a very, very short period of your life. No matter how hard it is, you've got a long life ahead that you can look forward to. Some people say that being a teenager is the best time of your life. I disagree, BIG TIME. It can be the worst. The only good thing (in my opinion) that comes out of it are a few special lifelong friends and motivation to do something with your life to get the hell out of cliques and immaturity.

So, don't let this issue break up your friendship.your friendship is more important and someday you can laugh over this while you're having a beer (after you're 21!) and celebrating college or work success.

hey do me a favor. #1 don't go apeshit and take a machine gun to school and kill 50 people. that is NOT the answer! Take it from me. I was the fat kid in high school. Most bullies in school grow up to be fat divorced construction workers. I grew up and went to college. I'm almost done and I'll be waking up to a job making over $100k a year. so don't worry about it. study and focus on grades. you'll get the last laugh. and if the bullies think your gay, fine! don't worry, start checking out mens fashion at the mall and in magazines. start dressing sharp, and when your in college you'll be getting more college ass than a NCAA stadium seat. don't worry young grasshopper. this will pass! and dude don't be mad at your chick friend. she was only trying to help. she a real good friend to you dude. good friends are hard to find. so show her you appreciate the help and take her out for a fun night sometime. you'll be ok! if you ever need more advice man. send me a message. - j

Bullying is unacceptable. Unfortunately, most schools don't do a good job in preventing and stopping bullying. So your friend went to the principal office to tell them that you were bullied? If so, I think she did it because she cares about you and cannot stand the fact that you're getting hurt. Remember, if no one does anything about, there will be more victims like yourself. Bystanders are also considered bullies when they stand there and do nothing.
