At work I asked one of the ladies out to dinner, nothing serious because she's married.(we are good friends) the other lady( who I really like) heard and said hey what about me? I said you can come too. Later the one I really like ask me if I want to hang on friday. I said yes I really like that. When she asked she was blushing, smiling and could not really look at me.
Ok now its a few days later and I asked the one I really like if we are still on? she said she doesn't want to get in the way with the other lady. We both don't mind and we told her. I later texted her and told her I never wanted to go with the other one and that I said that because I wanted to make her jealous. I told her the whole time I just wanted her to come.
Now things pretty much hit the fan. She said ( my crush) we can hangout but she wants to be with her friends instead of the date.
She also said she wanted to go out with coworkers all as friends?

my question is
1. did I have a connection and blew it?
2. does it sound like I still have a chance?

i think you still have a chance.continue to talk to her and if she gives you the green lights, ask her out on a date, just the two of you this time.

u still have a chance, shoot her a flirty email with an apology in it, smile when you see her, and send her little thing of flowers. get to talk to her and every thing will be fine.

You told her that you wanted to make her jealous. I think you know now that was so lame. I hope you laughed it off as a joke when you told her that.

I don't think you have blown it. Sounds to me like she doesn't want to be a third wheel on the dinner date and would rather some others around. Why don't you just ask her out alone after all this dust clears.
