I recently had a chance in august to spend some time with a professional football player I had been interested in. He had showed interest in me at games waving to me and smiling at me from the field. I had a chance to meet him and asked him if we could talk. He had sent someone over to get my number. A half hour after he got my number he called me and we talked. He invited me to spend time with him. I got there we talked and then I aroused him. He hugged me and then we almost had sex. I told him no and he was not mad he said it was a good thing we did not. When I asked him why he said it made him like me more. He kissed me on the cheek and I had to leave because I had somewhere to go. He never called me. Was I used or does he have feelings and is afraid to admit to them?
Hard to say for sure. Sounds like you were almost used. It's a really long shot but maybe he focuses on football during the season? I doubt it, though, particularly if he was flirting during the game when he should have been trying to pick up on the opponent's tendencies.
