Why won't he ask me out?

Here's what you do(try to look as hawt as you can while doing it).

Ask him what he did last weekend.
Tell him your weekend sucked.
say you wanna do something. Like see this show or movie, but you don't have anyone to go with. "then do your best hint-hint face"

If that doesn't work.

Say, wow, I never noticed what great hair you have. Then run your hands through it. Then say, your really hawt.

If he doesn't get it then. He's gay and in the closet. Or has a girlfriend from another school.

It's probable that he's thinking the same thing, or is just too shy, afraid of something even he doesn't know what.

Next time you see him, why don't you flirt with him again? Then a couple of days later, call him and tell him to let's have a dinner sometime somewhere (specify the when and where). Or something of that nature; you're not telling him it's a date, although, it could be if you want it to be that way.

Maybe he is just really shy, give him a break. I think you need to give him some more signals that you are interested. You don't have to ask him out, but what is stopping you from striking up a conversation with him? There is nothing wrong with you initiating talking to the guy. Plus it would be a good way for you to find out if he really is interested in you. I know you think it's the man's job to do everything, but sometimes you gotta hold their hand through it. Otherwise, asking this question is a moot point.
