So my Boyfriend broke up with me because he needed alone time. He hasn't been alone in years and he said he is just at that point that he needs to be alone. He said he loves me very much but his heart is just not in the relationship right now. He said we will see how things are down the road and to just be friends right now. He said all he's been doing is spending time with his daughter and by himself. He said I did nothing wrong and that he is just needing this for himself cause he is just spent. He's been through since last August. He has mentioned breaking up cause he needs alone time for the past few months. I've never heard of someone still loving that person but needing alone time. Is it possible?
You gotta be joking! You are in the 30 year plus racket. So I think you know the score. When you love someone you don't want to leave their side. Come hell or high water. Get rid of him. Want my address?
Me and my girlfriend broke up a month ago and she said the exact same thing. She just needs her space right now but sees us together in the future. She's just been spending time at home with her son. It's tough, I really don't have an answer but just know that this sort of situation happens a lot. The only thing I'm doing is keeping my options open. If someone comes along take the chance to get to know them.
If you want to eventually still want to be with him just give it some time. My boyfriend did this whole thing and I hurt so bad, but I gave him space. I didn't contact him and if I did it was just small talk, it took a while but things came together.
Well this sucks but all you can do is give him space. It isn't you it is damn men in general. They don't know how to be honest sometimes. I would keep lines of communication open but not to the point he gets annoyed and go from there. Try to have a life because what if it takes him 4 years to get through this. You have to value yourself and if he comes back make sure you set rules so this won't happen again
My boyfriend and I are in love. But he likes to have a lot of his "alone time." Just hanging out at home, he is the type of person that needs more...
