I really like my guy friend a lot ! Like 2 months ago I asked him out and he told me he likes me but more like a friend . I realize now that that was a mistake because he was dating someone at that time . We still talked to each other all the time and walked together between classes and talked over the internet constantly . Like 2 or 3 weeks ago we went on a trip and he made sure he was in my group and stayed with me instead of his friends . About a week ago he asked me to hang out just him and I so of coarse I said yes . I had him pick the day and where to go he picked the movies, but he had me pick the movie . I am so confused please help .
Of course he likes you, but it's not clear whether he wants to date you . When you asked before, he was dating someone else; is he dating someone now ?
It sounds like you're both getting to know each other better . If he starts acting like more than a friend, press the issue--ask him if he'd like a relationship with you . Basically, don't let him do all the boyfriend stuff without being your boyfriend .
He just wants you to pick a movie that you will like . He doesn't want to pick one because he is worried you won't like it . Things have changed and clearly if he wasn't interested he wouldn't of asked you out . Relax and go have fun .

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
I would go for a meal at a nice Italian restaurant in a town center. I would wear something dressy, but comfortable. Like a skirt with a plain top and a shrug to dress it up. The date would end with a hug and a peck on the lips/cheek.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
My date would know the basics of me, such as hobbies/ interests and, really, the everyday things about me. Obviously, he would know anything else he wanted. Nothing to deep or personal though.
