Here's my problem:
I've been friends with this guy for going on eight years now . We lost touch for about five of those years after our time together in college was over . When we started chatting again I learned that he had moved to another province to be with his girlfriend, who he started dating while we were in school .

The interesting and confusing behavior started while when I told him that back in our school years I had a crush on him and still have lingering feeling for him . He told me that he always knew and that he felt the same . From then on our chats got more intense and serious about our feeling for each other . It got so serious that he used the 'L' word multiple times .

What I'm wondering is if he is still so in love with his girlfriend, why continue this flirtation with me . Is all just for the attention or could it be something more ?

Thanks for any advice you can give me :D

Well he got up and moved for her. It would be hard to give up and say he doesn't love her anymore. That would mean he would have to move back. He might be just trying to trick his mind into thinking his still loves her so he won't realize he made a mistake by moving. But I think he probably likes you and he just doesn't want to admit he was wrong and have to move back. So he might be trying to make things seem hunky dory. This all works out in my head and it is hard to explain,I hope you understand!

Is it possible that it could work?
Evolution86 asked 5 hours ago

Yes, definitely

No, it's just too difficult

Only if they trust each other fully

Yes, but they need to see each other every weekend

No, because people can lie and cheat no matter the circumstances
