I am a Tantra teacher and I was surprised when I did a search for the term Tantra that it only showed up twice. I'm curious do people on here know about Tantra and if so what is their experience with it? If you have heard about it, where did you learn about it?

Question Asker Yeah, American Pie pretty much introduced the term. It doesn't have to be weird, but you can build up your orgasm to a much greater extent than we typically believe here in our western culture. Men can have multiple orgasms (note: orgasm and ejaculation are two different things). We can be healed from our sexual traumas of the past. I would highly recommend checking it out further. In Colorado, you can go to find out more information from educators at www. Sacredsexcolorado. Com to learn more. - 3 months ago

Question Asker Tantra originated in the east and has transformed a bit here in the US. Without getting into a really long explanation it is a form of sacred and spiritual sexuality. It is about moving energy through the body in a ceremonial way to increase pleasure in your body. It is a mechanism for creating connection between others in a loving and spiritual (not religion) way. It is many things.

What it can get for you is tremendous pleasure and orgasmic pleasure! - 3 months ago

I heard about it first when I was about 16, probably from a magazine. Haven't had any personal experience, but it seems a bit like the sex equivalent to yoga, no? Much emphasis on breathing and feeling the body overall and not so much on orgasm.

Question Asker Yes, all of that too. Tantric yoga enlivens the different chakra (energy centers) in our body. Yoga is a practice that many tantricas (tantra sexual practitioners) use, but it is not a requirement. - 3 months ago

Look for "Tantric Sex" when you do a search on Google. You'll probably get more hits. If I remember correctly, I think it's more like sex on a spiritual level. Can't remember where I heard about it.

I believe I've heard of it. Is it a form of or related to Kama Sutra?

Question Asker No, kama sutra was created by a bunch of celibate monks which is why many of the positions are impossible for normal humans LOL. The way I teach Tantra pretty much anything can be tantric including the Kama Sutra. - 3 months ago

I heard about it, but never followed through with it. But I do know there are workshops on it. I'm sure you can find an instructor in the internet.

I believe it is sex to a spiritual level where you have sex for the feeling of being one with your partner not much for the orgasm but as for personal experience I would like to know how it works since I have been wanting to try

Question Asker Yes, you are very close. You do create a connection with your partner in essence brining two part together to create a single energetic entity. There are a number of practitioners here in the US. The two most prominent ones that I know of is at SourceTantra. Com with Charles Muir and Margot Anand's SkyDancing Tantra. I have done the sourcetantra teacher training and can highly recommend it. Beware of people saying that tantra is all about sex. It is much more than that. - 3 months ago
Answerer Well any tips so I don't have to pay for an entire seminar any just basic understanding and practices please I'm sure my girlfriend and I would appreciate it very much - 3 months ago
Question Asker There is so much to say and much of the good stuff takes some basic understanding. Energy movement, if you are familiar with it, and breath work is one of the keys. Also, not having a goal to reach like orgasm. If you build the pleasure it'll come. Multiple orgasm was reached by masturbating until I almost reached the point of inevitability and then stopping. I then consciously moved the energy around my body before starting again. Eventually the orgasms just came and came (sorry for the pun). - 3 months ago

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I think I use situations to start conversations...

If I'm approaching a female, I'd start by introducing myself, and following up with a compliment of why I had to introduce my self.

How do they typically respond?
If she is interested, she would ask questions, or make small talk while giving off some type of body language.

If she is not interested, she listens to whatever I say, and tells me something like she really into someone right now, but she appreciates the approach.

Do I have the right approach?
