Do you think people who are opposites have better relationships than people who are alike?

I went out with someone who was like me, and it was very boring.

The guy I like now is the opposite of me, and just the "chase" (me passing him in the halls, deciphering his signs) is exciting.

Opposite are not better than people who are alike. i had that relationship before. It doesn't work out even I try my best for it. i think people who are alike have more understanding and know you more.
