Now, it's been awhile since I've had to ask a woman out. The one I want to ask out has people around her most of the time and I want to avoid as much attention as possible. I'm shy about asking things of this nature at first. Do woman want a verbal conversation face to face or would a note be just as good? I'm asking her Monday.
Update: She works at the drive-thru window of the bank I go to. If I come in and ask for her, that would definitely draw attention. I don't want to embarrass her or myself. Speaking over those intercoms might be a little to "loud". Thx in advance.

Pull her off to the side without anyone around. She'll find your nervousness and shyness to be cute and sincere. If a guy gave me a note, I'd feel like I was in grade school again and wouldn't feel like the guy would take me seriously. Now if the note had a poem in it written just for me, that's a whole other story.

Maybe slip her a note that asks if you could speak to her in private. I know I would prefer to be asked out in person because it shows confidence and that is a very attractive quality.
I would choose whatever you feel most comfortable with, a note could be very cute, sexy and mysterious. Verbal would be just as nice if delivered with class. How do you feel most comfortable asking, there are no set rules.
I assume some women might be charmed by a note, but I think the best way is to be as direct about it as possible. You're going to have to summon every ounce of balls you've got, call her over, and ask her face to face. This is going to be extremely tough, but if you man up and do it right, you'll feel better about yourself for trying. I'm with you in spirit on this one, buddy.
My opinion you let this one go, this is like hitting on waitresses, strippers, or anybody in a store, they came to work to earn money not look for a man, unless she throws you a BIG clue down the road.
She is to amazing to me to pass up the opportunity to find out about her. I don't know about clue, but she has a subtle way mystical expression when we talk compared to say my friend or while watching her when I have went inside with others at the drive-thru.
