When you really like someone (this is a hypothetical question) - I mean really like, and you haven't asked them out, or you just hang out as friends, but you really like them - is love the first word that comes to your mind?
Are you shy in any way, or are you the type to think things through before you act upon something? I'm just curious. - 3 months ago

Actually it depends on who I am with. If the person makes me comfortable around him I say what's on my mind. In other way I think of what I'll say. Lol - 3 months ago
No, the first word that comes to my mind is potential. Potential for something beautiful to be formed so that love can grow eventually. The word love is used to often and the meaning is so stretched out. The word love doesn't even cross my mind until I truly start to feel it. Great question!
This potential, it sounds like describing of planting a seed for a flower, and watching it grow into something bigger. But one more question, how would describe starting to feel the love, from the potential, like is there a certain amount of, like, intensity? (I don't know what to call it, lol, I guess that's why I'm asking). - 3 months ago

That's exactly how I look at love too lol. It's planted, and grows strong when it's properly nurtured. The feelings become more intense and for me, I know that it's turning into love when I realize that I would do anything to make the other person as happy as they make me, and I get the feeling of missing them before we say goodbye. Basically my mind gets completely wrapped around that person. How I know that I'm in love is when I can picture myself with the person for the rest of my life. - 3 months ago
Not really. I think love is a gradual thing that develops through the relationship. I don't ever consider love to be immediate. I guess you could say I don't really believe in love at first sight. But then again, If I did ever experience it I think I would know and my opinion on this question would probably change. I think "like" would be more relevant to a situation like that, especially as there is no romantic relationship involved.
supposing you have a close friend and you have feelings for him or her. but he or she just likes you as a friend, nothing more. would you tell him or...

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My ideal date would be somewhere where we could talk and get to know each other like bowling (my town has nothing else to do but that and movies so I'm limited) skating would be fun. I'd try to look as nice as possible but still being me. Do my hair all perfect and stuff like that:). I'd take her home where hopefully a kiss might happen. Just on the lips no tongue. It is the first date after all ;)
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
Hopefully that I'm a great guy who will be himself around you or anyone. Do anything to make you laugh. That I'm not afraid to show that I'm with you in public or in front of "the guys". That I'm rather sensitive but can still stand up for myself. That I can be both independent and dependent. & I'm dependable. Also that I'd do a lot to impress you. =]]
I recently came out of a complicated relationship and I'm back on the dating field again. Two weeks ago a friend of mine met a guy that she considered to be an "excellent match", so she agreed to...
Over the years, I probably, like most other men, have been on the receiving end of man-bashing resentments. Nothing quite like women having the gumption in telling me in my face how much I am a loser...
