My girlfriend is pregnant.

She has been drinking one glass of wine per day. I don't agree with her because I heard that you should not drink wine or any alcohol during pregnancy.

She says one glass of wine is ok. She has quit smoking. Is her drinking one glass of red wine per day a bad thing?

If so, how can I get her to stop?

They say wine is good for the blood and that it's okay to drink during a pregnancy, but not every day. And I don't think a whole glass either. She should definitely go talk to the doctor and make sure the baby is okay. It can effect the baby's growth and development.

Well, doctors advise against drinking everyday during pregnancy. Is she only drinks one glass of wine a few times during her pregnancy, she probably won't hurt her baby. Most of the research on alcohol consumption during pregnancy shows that problems develop when the fetus is exposed to two to three drinks per day.

She should talk to her doctor, really, and maybe once she hears the doctor's advice she will decide herself what to do.

Ask a doctor and tell her the doctor's opinion. Look up all of the birth defects and brain disorders that alcohol can cause for a baby, then scare the shit out of her by telling her about all such bad things. Use Google to look these things up. Do a search for "drinking while pregnant," "alcohol related birth defects," and things like that.

Get her to realize that the baby's health is more important than everything else. I would be very angry at the mother of my child if I ever saw her drinking. Be strong and be a good father and protect your baby! Do not compromise!

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
Anywhere works as long as we are both going to have some fun. Jeans and a tshirt. And to end the date going to somewhere to have ice cream and going home.

Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
As much as they ask. I may put stuff out there but if you ask I will usually tell what you want to know.

Would you date me?
