Lets say you go into a guys house (that he owns; he's not renting) and you see that he has style. He has a modern kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances; the walls are painted colors that look good (they are not just plain white); and he has hardwood floors. Let's say his bathrooms are really nice too: with a big mirror that rises to the ceiling, with granite or marble walls in the shower, and 1' diameter rain shower heads. And of course the whole house is spotless. I've read some girls say that if a guy has great style in his house, then he's in the closet. Is that unanimous among girls? Or do those girls just not know what they are missing?
Not at all. I'd just be impressed by the fact he has good taste and a sense of aesthetics. That's well worth appreciating. Oh and a hot bathroom is always great if I'm interested in being more than friends! from experience, I don't personally like really big shower rain heads though. The pressure is like. Well. Rain, not that somewhat more intense shower feeling (doesn't wash the shampoo out of my hair! ). Taste differs for everyone though, but the fact a guy is generally conscious of the way things look is definitely a plus.
Not at all. In fact many guys here in Norway have very stylish houses. If he decorated in a very feminine way, like floral patterns, or collectible dolls or something, then maybe I would wonder what was going on. But a guy doesn't have to be gay just because he has taste.
No, I would just think he has a comfortable lifestyle, or he had a girlfriend or someone help him pick stuff like that out, or he could be really into his surroundings and did it himself. I don't think its a bad thing, I don't expect a guy to be a "stereotypical" pig
Not at all! My dad has been re-designing his house for about 2 years because it's getting old, and it looks wonderful now! I think some men just know what nicer things are.
I wouldn't think he's in the closet at all! He'd win major points because it shows that he has a great eye for beauty, a keen fashion sense, attention to details, and isn't a slob! Unless a guy has ways about him personally that come off as gay, I would feel like I found a diamond in the rough! That's a very rare and awesome quality in guys.
No. No. No. I referred to something like this in another post. What I meant was with the frou-frou stuff and looking like an interior decorator has been in and "styled" the whole house. Counter tops and appliances are usually there already. That's no big whoop.
Any girl who thinks that a man is gay based on his house is hopelessly ignorant, and not someone you should even consider dating.
Of course, if there are explicit pictures of homosexual activity on the wall, that would probably lead to a fair assumption. But that's a pretty far fetched example.
Those woman are most likely just justifying the caliber of men they get - as in, the reason those woman believe the men they get aren't nearly as great, must be, because those GREAT men HAVE TO BE GAY, not because those woman are fat, unattractive, or tasteless.

I would probably want to go like, on our boat, and go wake boarding. That's my favorite thing to do. It would be way fun just to drive around on wave runners, or just drive around.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
