I reconnected with a guy friend about a month back. We both have every hectic schedules so we haven't met up and hung out yet we've just been talking a lot on the phone. A few nights ago he tried to get me to agree to be his girlfriend like right at that very moment. Is it just me or does he seem really desperate? we haven't even hung out yet!
It might seem desperate to you, if you are taking it slow while he is taking it fast, or you don't see him as your bf, while he does. He might have had something for you in the past and now that he feels the connection, even though on the phone, he might have felt that it was the right time to ask. I am just offering some options as to what it might be, but you are the one who would ultimately decide whether it was a desperate or a genuine attempt.

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
A day at the beach or pool , then a casual place for dinner, then for a walk on the beach to look at the stars. Then the hot tub back at my place. I wear a little summer dress and you wear ripped jeans and a nice shirt. Falling asleep talking and watching a movie.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
Anything he wants to. Except what I look like without my clothes on. We'll save that for the second date.
