Let me make this as simple as possible. Together 3 years. She is a model, but tries to be as low maintenance as possible. Constantly getting attention from guys. (not that big of a deal for me) She went through major depression/anxiety issues and I stuck by her side through it all. Another guy came along and threw a wrench in things, but we made it through that. I have a great job, so there are no money issues at all. I have never showered her with gifts, just my time and love.
Towards the end: I was the one that got up with the dogs every single day, cooked dinner about 70% of the time, the other times we would go out to eat. Paid for her dog's surgery etc. The only thing I wanted to do was work out each night for 1. 5 hours 5 days a week. She said we didn't have any time together, I didn't show enough affection etc etc. No sex for months on end! (we are only 24/23) She gave up, blamed it on me and moved out.
Currently: She is getting tons of attention from other guys, but wants to work things out and try again. Is very mysterious, can only do something 1-2 times per week max.
For you girls out there?
Do you think she is getting it from somewhere else? Do I sound like a bad guy? Am I not playing hard enough to get? Why do all of you like guys that treat you like shit?
This sounds like a classic case of don't know what you've got till its gone. There's a possibility that she may be getting it from somewhere else but really why does that matter? See you already told us one key fact ; your capable of being a good man when given the chance. The truth of the matter is you may already know what you need to do. You don't need to play hard 2 get ( life is full of games) And you don't need to worry about whether or not your a good man. If she still wants you , you can't be half bad. The question is she worth the hassle? Remember she gave up. She threw in the towel but for it was ever over. And she blamed you, don't take the blame hand it back to her and keep on moving. If you are going to take her back be cautious she might pull another disappearing act.
I thinks she's seeing someone else and it didn't turn out how she expected so she's trying to get back with you to fill a void in her life. She saw how you took care of her and how you love her, so she wants that back. But how long will it last this time?
Good lord! No, you don't sound like a bad guy at all! It sounds like the relationship is really one sided ( you giving everything. Her not! ) I don't know really, what it seems like is she tested the waters with someone else, realized he was an asshole, and realized how good you are to her, and maybe if you take her back she'll change. If she likes assholes, she's immature. Most women like good guys, they don't care about how bad ass or masculine you are.
Dude, you deserve a girl who respects you for who you are. Don't waste your time with a girl who you don't trust and who won't return that level of commitment. No matter how hot she is.
