We have all heard of the saying, "it's better late than never. " I suppose this saying does apply to some of life situations. But I wonder if a man can be a little too late when it comes to confessing how he feels for a woman.
Suppose that a man is attracted to this woman, and of course she is also attracted to him. But for some reason, perhaps shyness, situational difficulties, he ate to much jalapenos, whatever, he could not let her know that he was attracted to her. Some time later in the future, he then decides to pursue her and let her know how he feels. Is there a time limit to how long a woman can remain attracted to a man? Or is it once a man shows no interest in a woman, she will move on and forget about him?
Update: Of course, with this case, we are assuming that the woman is STILL single, isn't seeing anyone, married, etc.

Update: ***** Let me make this clear, this question does NOT apply to me directly (I am not asking what I should do)***** I am just doing a poll to see what the men and women have to say about such situation.

Well, for example if I like a guy and we keep flirting and I think he likes me but he never tells me or asks me out, then I start to think I was wrong and he only wants to be friends. I usually give a guy 3 weeks to a month and then if nothing happens I move on because I think I read the signals wrong and he doesn't like me like that. So yes, I would say the sooner the better.
I'm in a similar situation myself. I like a guy and I get this feeling he likes me (or so my friends say). But since he doesn't make any intentions of going out with me, then I'm just going to move on. I still feel some attractiveness towards him, but I still have to move on. So to answer your question. Yes, I guess there is a deadline, depending on how long a girl would wait.
Well there is only one way to find out. To put your heart out there and tell her how you feel. A woman loves a man that is willing to go the extra mile to win her heart so do something thoughtful for her to let her know you are thinking about her. What could it hurt to ask her out to coffee or something? Keep it simple until you get a vibe for how she is feeling. I don't believe there is an actual time limit but I do believe the longer you wait, the higher the chances are of some other guy snagging her up! Good luck!
Well, if she was interested before, unless you did something really stupid, most likely she still is interested. Yes, feelings fade but when a girl really has feelings for a guy she can't just shut them off. I encourage you to go tell this girl how you feel. Quit holding it in. All girls want to hear is how a guy feels about them, well one they have feelings for too. We do all we can to get your attention and we want to know we've finally got it. We want to know we got it in a way that's not "you're hott" but that you truly have seen who we are and like us for that.
Not a bad answer, and thank you for your advice. But there is no gal in my heart at the moment. This answer was just a reflection of what I have experienced and noticed a while ago. The question was sort of like a poll to see what the ladies had to say. For your answer, it seems like you have suggested that there is no time limit, am I right? But what if the time was over a week, a month, a year, a decade? Will things still be the same? - 2 months ago

You're welcome! :) I dated a guy then we stoped for like 3 months, barely even talking, and when we got back together, it took a little while ,but we got right back to how we were, even better. I guess really it just depends on the situation. Another time I liked a guy for so long and then he finally asked me out, I'm talking years later, and the feelings were fizzled. So, bottom line it depends on how deep the attraction is to how long she'll wait. In my oppinion! :) - 2 months ago
I think most people give up a little when someone doesn't return interest in them. If that interest appears later on, they won't be as receiving, but possibly still give things a chance.
I've probably waited to long to talk to this girl at school. So I know where this question is coming from.
I agree. If I were interested in a guy and he showed no interest, I'd give up on him. If time passed and he expressed his interest in me, I'd be wary and hesitant at first. If I were still single I'd probably give him a chance but I'd have my guard up. - 2 months ago
Unless your some sort of stud muffin ie rich and handsome, I guess she can move on to some other stud muffin, ie ben affleck and Jennifer Lopez, they both got new pieces of meat the next month
