I would say it could be very cute if done properly. Anything that made me smile or giggle to myself would probably put me in a good mood for a little bit. So in general, I would think it was funny and sweet, a cute little way to flirt.
It can be cute. but it really depends on who the guy is. if it's a boyfriend, then I'll really like it... cause I'll think he's a dork..but my dork :P. if it's just some guy that is interested in me but I don't feel the same, then it's lame.
I just love the cheesy lines! No matter if its my boyfriend or a friend! I love em! It makes me feel happy because I know that people care enough to take time and send me a "cheesy line" and make it worth it!
Its even better when guys send you cheesy messages because it seems that they are the "romantic type" and makes me want to give em a hug :) lol It just makes you feel very happy! <3
It's cute when my boyfriend sends me cheesy text msgs. It shows he's thinking about me. It's an extra plus when he knows I'm having a rough day and he's making that extra effort.
I like that he's thinking about me. But I'd much prefer him to use his own words. Repeating cheesy lines he's found on websites is too cheap and easy. C'mon -- make the effort to tell me how YOU really feel about me. If a guy won't make that much effort, how much does he REALLY care for me?
If its cheesy does that mean he didn't come up with it? I would figure that if he did come up with a cheesy line on his own it would show even more of a creative thought. It's nice and it's funny. - 22 days ago

Yes, I've had creepy older guys try cheesy lines on me, and it is an icky feeling. But that's pick up attempts. You said you were not using cheesy lines to try to pick up girls, but only with girls you already know, right? With girls who know you, the risk of an "ick" reaction to an original cheesy line should be a lot lower. How well did this girl know you? - 21 days ago
