Do any of you guys and girls dwell too much of the past? Do you think too much of the past, the future? Rather than the present. I'm asking this cause I use to do this-

-But now I don't even dwell over my past at all, don't think too much of the past. I focus on the present more now, a little of the future, cause I just want to be 17 and not worry about college right now.

I just live life, and enjoy the present. Lets say I'm walking down the street. I will be looking around and focusing on things that are near me. I won't be thinking about the past but the present.

-Has this happened to you at all?

If I had to break it down, I would say I think 10% about the past, 50% about the present, and 40% about the future. I think it's important to always remember your past and improve upon what you messed up while continuing what made you happy. Obviously the present is very important, since technically it's all we have. And the future is always on my mind it seems, since I try to live my life in a progressive way, always improving myself and my situation.

Of course, there are still times where I dwell on certain memories from the past (both happy and sad). I think that's important sometimes, although it can be hard.

Lastly, a great quote from the band +44: The past is only the future with the lights on.

I'm a bit of both, I used to be an idiot, literally I was in a gang and all that, sold drugs, etc, so basically I still dwell upon the past for the good times, but I also dwell on the future, because now I actually started caring about life, but also, I live in the present, because the present keeps me pondering about the future

I used to think about the past a lot, about mistakes I've made or people I hurt emotionally back then. I've even run into people from the past but when I ask them if they remember a certain event, they don't have a clue as to what I am referring to. So if I'm the only who can remember then I don't see the point in thinking about the past anymore.

I also used to think about the future but after having Cancer and going through other health difficulties, I don't see the point in thinking about the future either. No girlfriend, looking for work, out of college, just here living in the present taking it day by day by day.

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
I would wear nice clothes nothing like work clothes. I would pick her up at her house at the time we agreed on. We would then go to a nice restaurant to have a nice dinner. Then we would go walking through the park or go to a nice place to sit and talk to get to know each other better. Then after the date was over I would take her home and not get a kiss unless we both agreed on it.

Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
Whatever it is that she wanted to know. I'm not a shy person. If there's something she wanted to know but wouldn't ask and I picked up on it then I would just tell her everything about me that there is to know.

Would you date me?
