I met a guy through friends about 2 months ago. We really hit it off and I was all but convinced he was my boyfriend. Trouble is, he moved a few hours away from me soon after we met making things quite complicated. At first we talked on the phone every day and visited each other most weekends. We started having sex a few weeks ago. Like every time we saw each other...kind of a lot too. And now I'm getting confused because he never really asked me out and I don't know what our relationship status is. I really want to ask, but I don't know how... I don't do the whole friends with benefits thing and I'm afraid that might be what this has become. Please give me some advice on how to get this cleared up because it's really starting to stress me out!!

Next time you guys are together, try and stop anything from happening. When he asks what is wrong, that is your perfect opportunity to say "well, I really like you- but I am afraid this relationship is just sex and I don't want that. I really like you and I want to be more than friends but I don't like to have casual sex if that's what you are looking for." That opens up the convo so he has the chance to say whatever is on his mind.
