Is it true that guys know when to let their sperm out or do they always put some in? Because my boyfriend told me that he wasn't going to use a condom because he was 18 and he knows better of when to let it out! So is that true or false?

It has been 9 months since this question was asked. I hope it isn't too late. If so, let me know what your baby's name is.

He is absolutely false! Sperm can travel with pre-come. There is a lot less of it, but the early withdrawal method is one of the least effective methods of birth control. Don't do it! It isn't about controlling when you ejaculate or not.

Its all about stamina its like you don't just run a 15 mile marathon without training you have to build stamina for it, and really you can't control it somethings that the girl does helps it go faster but generally you can tell when it's coming and then pull out but we can't control it, or we'd all go on for hours.

That's not accurate, what he said. His age has very little to do with whether or not he has to ejaculate.
And it doesn't matter anyway, because his pre-cum can still get you pregnant. Be careful.

That is false. I think for a young guy, the problem they have that they get criticized, is they have no staying power, they do not last long. He wants you to believe that he has control when he cums but that is not true! Lots of times, it happens when you least expect it. The older he gets the better control he will have, but that will be a while. I would make him wear a condom. Remember, you are in control here, not him! He will not leave you if you ask him to wear a condom. He may also may not feel comfortable knowing how to put on a condom or getting condoms! He may be inexperienced in that department.

The better the sex, the harder it is for the man to control himself. And most men have precum-whether they admit it or not---and always use a condom, better safe than sorry, I know a lot of young women who have "pre-cum" babies

Well, I think that at that age, you sometimes do not have control all the time! I have had times I just lost control. Maybe if he were maybe 10 years older it would be different.

lovebird01 When its time to ejaculate, there's no such thing as "letting it out". It just shoots out. You can control it to a point, but that depends on your level of excitement. Definitely use a condom if you want to be safe! - 7 months ago

There is always Sperm in both the pre-Cum and in regular Cum. Not using a condom is an unsafe way to have sex. If you don't care about getting some STD or getting Pregnant then feel free to have un-protected sex. but if you do care about keeping your health then by all means use one, or maybe even two.

tammymac It's not good to use two because the friction can cause breakage, just use a good brand name product - 7 months ago
Answerer I know I was just trying to get a point across that a condom is the best way to protect yourself if your having sex - 7 months ago
Aedak I'm pretty sure he meant to use a second the first one broke or was already used. - 7 months ago

You know when precum actually comes out but it's like a fake orgasm where you think you shot but you know you didn't and don't feel like you did.

I always think I can control it. But I also think I'm okay to drive after drinking a 6 pack. Better safe than sorry.

Well we do know when it comes out, but even some comes out before that, that's called pre-cum, and that contains sperms too, that's why you can get pregnant even if the guy pulls it out before he shoots, so he stil has to use a condom

That is truly false and if you believed that girl i am sorry to say but he played you to the left! a boy's sperm will let out when it is ready to come out. it doesn't matter how old the age or the person so don't believe anything stupid like that.

Don't fall for this crap! If the loving is good, he is not going to be able to control it! He can pull out yes. But do you really want to find out if he can? Do yourself a favor. Get your STD and AIDS test with your boyfriend. If everything comes back clean, get on the pill. You can test his theory after you have protected yourself. Remember, this is your body and your responsibility to take care of yourself.

Best of luck to you.

False, false, false, don't fall for that BS. A man's pre cum can impregnate a woman just as easy as the final ejaculate. Men a whole lot older then your 18 yr old friend don't have exact control every time, so don't let him tell you that line. I'm sorry but I wouldn't risk teenage pregnancy on something that has as great a margin for error as the "pulling out method" does. Not to mention the risk of STIs without protection of a condom. You know he might be your first but who's he been with?

Now I have a question for you, if the guy won't even take the responsibility of wearing a condom how responsible is he going to be if or when you get pregnant?

No it's NOT true. Boys can't help themselves but can only think with their smallest "head" if you know what I mean.
