I have been with this guy for about 2 months now and we have done nothing but hook up. I am not a virgin but he is, and whenever the chance to go further arises he just doesn't make the move and nothing happens. We are both juniors at highschool, I was wondering if many 17 year old boys act this same way? And why?
He's probably scared. You should look for signs, like when the chance arises I'd bet you a thousand dollars he is thinking about it and it's probably making him nervous. Look for changes in his breathing, extra sweaty palms, etc. Assuming that's the problem, then I know exactly where he is coming from. He might also be waiting for some sort of sign that you are ready to go further. Next time you should try pushing things a little further. I don't know exactly how far things have gone between you too, but I'd be willing to bet you'd make him a happy young man if either you reached down his pants and started playing with him, or shoved his hand down your pants and kind of "guided" him along. 17 is not really that old and you'd be surprised at how many are still virgins. Two months is not a long time. If you're that concerned- talk to him. He's probably nervous.
