Last week I spent a couple nights with a girl that hangs out at our house quite often. The first time I told her straight up that I wasn't looking for a girlfriend or any sort of relationship and she said "thats fine, neither am I. " The last night we spent together she started getting all clingy. She is going home for the summer and she was asking "when are you gonna come visit me? " "when can I come visit you? " Over the last couple days she has been sending me pictures of herself on her phone and saying "i miss you" and telling me goodnight. She is a nice girl, but I kind of want her to leave me alone, but I also don't want to be a prick and just tell her that. Any advice?
From what I've been told, intimacy, whether a girl wants it to or not, affects a female emotionally. The feelings may have just snuck up on her out of nowhere. Your best bet is to just let her down easy and as soon as possible. Tell her that she's a nice girl, but you're not in a place in your life for a relationship. She's best to find someone that has the same feelings for her as she does for him. If she's anything like me, she'll appreciate your honesty and your letting her down easy.
Often, women will say they aren't looking for a relationship but honestly, that's how we're built. This is why hooking up doesn't always work out - even with the best of intentions. We female types have these hormones that are released after sex, that make us clingy. So it's not necessarily that she set out to deceive you. It's possible she just can't help herself.
That said, you were honest with her from the beginning which is to be respected. of course you want to be respectful of her as well since the two of you did share something special together.
you could restate your position prefaced with a compliment. Something like: "i really enjoyed our time together. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to staying in touch periodically. I'm not seeking a relationship and I apologize if I gave you that impression despite our discussion. You are a great girl that deserves to be happy. If a relationship is what will make you happiest, I know you will find it and I will be happy FOR you. "

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I think on my feet a lot and say what fits the time. A good way to start might be "Hey what's up? How are you doing?" I try and keep it on my side of the 50 yd line so I can attack and play offense a little more.
How do they typically respond?
Depends on the girl... Some think it's fine and others think I should be shot for it lmao but it just depends on the girl and what kind of personality they are into.
