Is it ok to have a crush on someone while in a committed relationship, if it's not acted upon? Or does it mean you don't truly like or aren't truly committed to your significant other?

Well, if I think of my own case, when I really like a girl, how the hell would I even have the time to have a crush on somebody? I mean, once I like a girl, that means that I'm so blown away by this person that no other person is going to take my attention away from her; thus, I would think you're not all that committed, or you're not fully satisfied with the person you're with--otherwise, why would you even pay attention to somebody else?

Sorry but it isn't okay and it does mean you aren't truly committed. Its called cheating of the heart. You may not be having physical relations, but if your whole heart and thoughts are not about your significant other than yeah, its not so good. Imagine if randomly you found out your man had a super crush on some girl. It would kinda hurt right? It is normal to think think someone is attractive tho. As long as the feelings you have for your crush are nothing but a small physical attraction that will pass, its not so bad.

Yes. You can't help you have eyes and are gonna c other attractive people. Just as long as you don't act on it. Then you can say your not really into the one ur with but. You just notice someone else is attractive. That's it. Nothing wrong with having a crush on someone else in or out of a relationship. So ur good

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
Pick up lines are so cheesy. If I'm downtown I usually start by commenting on someone's outfit or asking them what they are up to for the night. If I'm in class or see someone during the day, I'll try to strike up a conversation by talking about something we both have in common, like class or something neutral.

How do they typically respond?
They usually give me their full attention and begin a nice two way conversation for at least a few minutes. Sometimes it ends with them giving me their number, or me asking for it if I'm still interested, Other times one of us will try to make plans to meet up some other time.

Do I have the right approach?
