GUYS I REALLY NEED YOUR OPINION. LADIES IF YOU CAN TOO.

Me and a guy friend have known each other for almost a year. , I recently told him that I've liked him since I first met him. And ever since we've just talked. He said I'm alright its just that we need to communicate more. So I've made the effort to communicate more with him. He grabs my hand when its time for him to go on call( he's a 21 year. Cop and I'm a 17 year old junior) we meet up to chat, I sometimes have baked goods I made for him, or we just chill. But what threw me off guard was when he touched my face! Is he interested in me beyond a friend stat or am I looking too into it?
i forgot what was said but he said its okay and did that. HELP ME UNDERSTAND HIM!
