Masturbation is the safest sex you can have. I'm all for it and it was through masturbation that I learned as a guy how to have multiple orgasms. It can be one way to relieve those sexual tensions quickly. It can also be a very self honoring event. The only down side that I can see to masturbation is that it curbs the sexual drive to go out and connect with members of the opposite sex.
I do have a few toys. I guess the focus hasn't been on guy toys quite as much as womens. I occasionally use something called the Aneros and it can be used during regular sex play as well as masturbation for prostate massage and it certainly enhances the orgasm.

It's natural. I think society's issues with it are mostly part of the weird uncomfortableness with the idea of humans as sexual creatures. I mean, if you go back a hundred years or so, women were sometimes diagnosed with "hysteria" and the treatment was masturbation. Orgasm releases lots of happy chemicals into the body, which makes you feel better, and I've read a study that shows that, in men, regular orgasm reduces the risk of prostate cancer. And it's certainly safer to masturbate than to try for one night stands and such.
