Boyfriend wants to move in together and is very excited he has been bothering me for awhile about it. But wasn't sure if he was serious because he had a busy past with Girls. Some say player. Some say just very active sexually. But with me he said he is ready to settle down and get married I am not pressuring him either. But he wants to move in together and start our life together. Is 27 To young for a man to want to get serious and start a family? Is he serious? Men please help and ladies too of course :)

Update: Thank you for your responses. It really is a trip how men and women think differently. I know my sweetheart loves me and we are giving it a chance living together and I will see what unfolds from this.    2 months ago

At 27 is a good time, I know of lost of people that married even younger and it worked for them, I would move in and start a family in a year or so, just make sure you two get along before having kids.

I think 27 is definitely a good time to start a family, although it really depends on the guy. If I could I would settle down with the girl I am seeing now and I'm 19. My uncle on the other hand is 30 and wants to stay single. It all really depends on the person, but if he seems serious and you think he would make a good father go for it.

NO. My opinion is anytime after one graduates from college is OK to start a family. So that's usually at the age of 22 or 23. So any age older than that is fine.

This could be the case with your man. You see some actors and musicians who bang a countless number of groupies can eventually settle down and marry one woman. How could they abandon that lifestyle that is seemingly so great? Some eventually realize that a promiscuous life isn't fun anymore, and they might also realize that a life like that is emotionally void. They realize that getting married to one woman who they finally realize they love and care for is a nice and more relaxing lifestyle. Maybe that concept finally hit him and he very well could be serious about commitment.

I think 27 is a great age to settle down. Most guys by this time go past their "player- self" and begin to think about what's ahead. If he's responsible, and knows what he wants then I think you should give him a chance to live with you. You can learn even more so about how he handles the idea of living together and whatnot. You (in regards) knows more about him and should be able to see if he's trust worthy, hardworking, loving etc. In whole, whether he's serious or not will eventually show.

27 is not to young, as long as he is mature enough to be a man and take the responsibilities. It sounds like he is serious and its up to you to find out, If you don't feel comfortable with the situation than don't proceed with it. Everybody has had some type of busy past and you shouldn't base everything off of that.

hmm actually im am pretty definet that every guy including players will eventually want to settle down & will settle down when it comes to other lovers / ppl. chances are he does want to settle down with you at 27. reason being is women mature way sooner and faster then men. *boys lol * no but this just means he is maturing and honestly thats cute you helped him do that. ok well good luck with your life together =]
wish you 2 the best of luck and forever happiness and peace

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I usually try to use humor to break the ice (no not stupid jokes or creepy sexual innuendos)
I'll usually ask her a question about a class (if she is in one of my classes) or about something else. I might also comment on her clothing or smile, or something.

Once after that I'll tell her my name, and get a conversation, I'll usually tease her a little to ease any tension

How do they typically respond?
Well, it's worked 2 times and I've used it 2 times.. so 100% so far!

In one case there was girl in my class and she worked at the bookstore. I asked her if she liked the class and she said she didn't know. So I teased her about not knowing her own opinion, (nothing mean, just light humor) after that we got talking and I ended up getting her number.

Do I have the right approach?
