Does he like me more then a mate?

Ok for the past year I have been hanging out with my brothers friends and I have a great time with a couple of the guys from the group. There is this one guy in the group who I always have a good chat to when we are out drinking. One night I went home early cos I felt sick and he was texting me asking me to go back out cos he wanted to talk to me, in the morning I had some msg from him asking if he caught a cab to mine could he stay the night with me in my bed, as I had missed the msg there was another saying I take that as a no and another saying lol just joking, all with a good distance apart from when they were sent. Ok another thing. I don't always go out when every one else does and when I don't he texts me for ages trying to get me to go out cos he wants to talk and he won't have fun with out me there. If I give in and go out he says hi to me and we talk but he usually walks away then comes back and walks away again. Tonight he msg me again and he gave up and said fine but that I should go out tomorrow night to a party and I HAVE to tell him if I'm going or not. Is he just a good mate and wanna have a good chat again or does he want more?
