Ok. So I split up about a year ago with a girl who I had been seeing for 2 about years. She was a close friend for years before that all through school but we ended it when we moved away to different universities. We stayed in touch ever since and recently started seeing a bit more of each other. Thing is she slept with my best friend in the mean time which has really pissed me off as you can imagine. I know a years a long time and I had obviously been doing my thing as well. But everyone knows that's against the rules don't they? I didn't want to make any bad moves when I found out so I've kept it calm just speaking to both of them on a level but I fell like getting angry to be honest. Really would appreciate any advice on how to deal with these two troublemakers.

As for your best friend, I would ask him about it, I mean seriously sometimes you feel like you can't talk to your boyfriend or girlfriend about feelings but you should definitely be able to talk to your friend about it. As for the girl, you have to come to terms with if she's worth it or not. Do you wanna be with her and do you think you will be able to get over this? If so then I would wait to see if things get more serious and if its heading somewhere then talk to her about it and ask her what she was thinking. If not then there's no point in talking to her about it at all, why get all upset over something that isn't going anywhere.

You said you ended it when you moved to different universities. So at that point there are no rules. You may feel jealous of your best friend, but to be fair, she was available. And you were doing your thing. If you don't want to alienate your best friend, it's probably not wise to sleep with his ex, but where is it written in stone? If you want to get back with each other, forget what took place while you were split up and be happy. There's a song that goes, I'm the one who's got you now and that's all that matters. Buy it, play it, dance with her to it. Make it your song.

That's crossing the line. Kick the guy's ass and call out the girl on being a whore and then walk away with your dignity intact.

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I honestly don't have any pick-up lines really, I may flirt a little to see if the girl flirts back, and I'll then just ask if she wants to do something with me on the weekend.

How do they typically respond?
It depends, sometimes they'll flirt back then turn me down, usually though they flirt back and we end up dating

Do I have the right approach?
