It happened to you cause you thought it would never happen to you, so you didn't take the precautions you needed to. Although it does take 2 to tango, you always have to remember that you're the one that will get pregnant; guys will convince you that they will pull out before cumming, or that they are sterile, or that they never use condoms as they are allergic to latex, etc. So at the end, is your responsibility to be smart about who you have sex with, and how you want to have sex with them, as a guy, as you obviously know, will never ever get pregnant. :)
Responsibility falls on both parties. Birth control pills, condoms are not 100% effective. Unfortunately, the only sure way not to get pregnant is abstinence, but as statistics are starting to show that isn't very practical. There are other things that can be done like dry humping (i. E. Simulating sex with your clothes on), oral, or fingering just to name a few.
It takes two to tango, or so the saying goes. It was your responsibility, as well as his. He must now also help you with your pregnancy, and taking care of the baby once he/she is born. The only way you could have stopped it was to stop the sex before it happened. 'Protection' may help, but it is fallible too.
Things happen for a reason. But just to let you know you could of stopped it by not having sex at all. The only way you cannot get pregnant as in 100% sure is by not having sex. Other than that its more of a possibility you are. It was both of your fault because you opened your legs he just went right ahead. You to should of talked about what could be the consequences before y'all did anything.
I already TOLD you... You should not have a child! PLEASE give it up for adoption! I'm begging you. I'll adopt the damn kid! It happened to you because YOU didn't have a condom. YOU didn't say no. YOU didn't make sure he was wearing a condom. YOU weren't on birth control.
Yes it was both of your faults, but you know he's not going to stick around. So YOU will be stuck with a kid.
The only way to stop pregnancy is abstinence. But other then that, condoms & birth control are ways to 99% prevent pregnancy.
I agree with what Quackpotty said, it takes two to tango. It wasn't solely his or your fault. It was a group effort to make that baby.
I still don't understand why pregnancy is the consequence of unprotected sex. I have many questions for God. But for now, you need to really sit down with your boyfriend/fiance/whatever and talk about what you're going to do and if you're financially stable enough to support this baby.
You can make this work, you can get help from your parents, or put the baby up for adoption. Ultimately it's a hard decision, but you HAVE to do what's best for this child that you created.
I hope everything works out beautifully, do not see this as a mistake or a punishment, this is a gift from God, EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. Have faith, you'll make it through. This child is a blessing

I agree. As to the 'why pregnancy is the consequence of unprotected sex' question, that's just what it is. Unfortunately, some people also fall pregnant from heavy petting, and that's called a splash pregnancy, for obvious reasons. Often there's no 'protection' at that point in the stage of moving on towards having sex. Condoms and other forms of contraception have far too many ways of failing to gain my total trust. As you said, though, it isn't a punishment; a baby is a gift. A human life, too. - 2 months ago
I'm sure many of you have heard this before, and it stands true. So many young girls are doing things to disrespect themselves because they think it's "sexy". I've heard countless times of girls...
A dream and a fantasy are one in the same, yet two different things all together. And the person you dream about and the person you fantasize about are very similar, but have an exceptionally thin...
