So why do people choose to answer/ask in anonymous?

I haven't been a member for long, but I asked one question anonymously because it was a topic I feel awkward talking about.

I haven't answered anything anonymously, although one of my answers was kind of personal and I probably should've made it anonymous...oh well.

B/c I don't wanna sound dumb when I answer a question.

I have other accounts on the net on other sites. I have certain things there that I don't want associated with my account here. Also, there are two other people on this site that know me personally that I'd rather not know when I'm answering some questions. I'm very private, but if they knew what I've answered or how I've answered, the people that actually know me will know secrets that I'd rather nobody I know finding out.

Because they don't want other people to know who they are, they feel ashame sometimes, and its normal. Even the loudest guy/girl in the world will have embarrass moment.

I usually answer anonymous when what I say goes against what I would usually say. I don't want to seem like a hypocrite. I ask anonymous sometimes because I want an unbiased answer.
