I just want to know the basics of handling this stuff? I ain't a natural at make up but I am slowly progressing. I prefer the natural or subtle look with less make up or dark eyes that's pretty much it I'm a beginner.

But I would like to know how to use it properly? Which to choose? What and how is the most best way to apply etc just the basics.

Well, first of all, you need the right color according to your skin tone. If you don't have the right concealer. Your face ends up looking really bad and very unnatural. You want your concealer to be light enough to brighten the eye area and conceal your undereye circles, yet not so light that it doesn't blend nicely with your skin tone. Make sure to avoid raccoon eyes, where hte undereye area is noticeably lighter than the rest of your face. Use the colour and tone of your undereye area as a guide to finding the best concealer colour. If your undereye area is blue or purple, then try warm beige-tone concealer. If your undereye area is yellow, green or brown, then try pinkish beige-tone concealer. In some cases, there is puffiness under the eye that is white. In that case, you'd want a darker-tone concealer to get rid of the puffiness.

To start off, put some concealer on the back of your hand (this way you can control the amount on your brush). Apply the concealer with the brush on the areas you need it on and start to blend until you see the elimination of dark circles, puffiness or anything that your were trying to get rid of. If you have a large, dark, and flat area to cover with concealer, you can use your finger. This way you can cover the dark area better.

You need to set your concealer right after you've applied it and before you apply camouflage and powder to the rest of your face. Don't set the rest of your face before setting your concealer. I prefer to use a special brightening powder and apply it under the eyes with a small powder setting brush. Put a tiny bit of powder on the side of the brush, and press gently over the concealer. Don't drag the brush. Keep pressing it against your skin gently until you've covered the area and the skin feels soft and silky to the touch. And you'll have a nice looking skin under your eyes.

I hope this helped. Goodluck.

I don't even wear the stuff anymore, but if you're looking for a more natural look get the powdered, bare minerals. Its called something like that. Its like 10 bucks, but it's definitely worth it.

I personally think how you apply it varies on each person for example my friend uses a make up brush to put hers on and it comes out lovely on her skin but when I use a brush or sponge it doesn't seem to stay right so I use my fingers! And finding the right foundation will work wonders I use maybeline's panstick because I can't use liquid foundation as I find it useless on my skin!
