I'm tired of this weight, I gained a lot of weight in my last relationship, now that is over, I wanna loose weight but it seems really hard. Diets that seemed to work before they just won't do it no more. I someone has an advice, tell me what has worked for u, it doesn't have to be the healthiest way but I need it.
I personally think that exercise is a much much better way to lose weight than diets. If you keep a healthy eating pattern and go to the gym 3x a week and make sure you do a fair amount of physical activity every day, you should lose the weight well. If you think about it one way, exercise is positive - it makes you feel great, tones your muscles, adds confidence and improves generally everything about you, whereas diets make you feel hungry and unhappy. Eat a balanced but non-extreme diet that you can keep up indefinitely, and work out regularly.
Depends on if you want to lose weight the healthy way.
If so a combination of exercise and eating good foods work.
And I know what you think..."UGH EXERCISE" but exercise doesn't have to be your standard running, treadmill, etc. Find some activity that you like that enables you to move around a lot...
See with me I like martial arts and kick boxing...its a great form of exercise but it doesn't feel like exercise to me because I'm having fun and losing weight was a bonus. So if you like to dance for example, take a dance class.
To lose weight the healthy way you need to do at least 3 days a week of cardio (i.e. the dancing) and 2 days a week of weight/training resistance (hand weights/pushups/crunches)...and alternate it...so its like:
30 minutes each day is good enough...and when you get used to it, bump it up to 1 hour.
As far as healthy foods, I stick with green vegetables like broccoli and skinless white meat like chicken or turkey. Limited dairy and limited fruits...some breads but it has to be WHOLE GRAIN and not that fake wheat stuff.
I stuck with that routine and I dropped about 20 lbs in 3 1/2 months...and as a result I dropped 2 pants sizes as well and a lot of inches.
I know being a girl you have seen those weight watchers commercials on tv now days. I weighed 181 and am 5"3 and am obviously a little overweight. So I figured why not try weight watchers. I just went to my second weight watchers meeting (I've only been doing it for a week now) and at my weigh in I lost FOUR ALMOST FIVE POUNDS IN A WEEK AND ITS ALL HEALTHY! You can eat whatever you want so its not a diet. You can eat out and heck if you want you can eat a snickers and loose weight! They don't even push for a bunch of exercise so its totally the best way I've found. And best of all, its impossible to cheat!
Best of luck hunny.
(and if you don't want to do weight watchers, take out drinking soda and just drink water. You can keep off 15 pounds a year that way! )
I think following the food pyramid, reducing sugar, salt & fat intake, increase fiber intake, drink 8 glasses of water a day and increasing your exercise is the best way to lose the weight and keep it off. It's all about healthy life style rather than a quick fix diet that leads you to pile the pounds back on after a couple of months. Good luck xx

I know it's probably the typical answer, but eat foods that are high in fiber an low in sugar, and get at least 30 min of exercise daily. You can even do 3, 10 minute sessions of exercise, or whatever best fits your schedule. Things like Slim Fast work for as long as you use them, but as soon as you stop, the weight comes back like a beast.
ok i let myself go and i am not feeling pretty at all. i have about 35-40 lbs to lose. i want to do it as fast as possible but i dont want my skin...

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My ideal date would be something romantic and fun at the same time. Maybe dinner and then bowling. I would probably wear a cute pair of jeans and a nice top (turtleneck in the winter, sleeveless in the summer) with a pair of heels. The date ends with us both smiling like big dorks so much because we had a great time (LOL)and him making a second date right there.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
My date will know that I am a funny girl who loves to crack jokes and make people laugh. He will know that I'm very independent but I still love him to hold my door open for me and pull my chair out. He will also find out that I have a competitive streak but most of all he'll know that he can't live without me! LOL.
