When my boyfriend and I have sex...the first round is very short! But then if we have a second round he lasts between 20-40 minutes. The first round never lasts more than 3-5 min! Is this normal? He is 30. I love him and the sex is still very good! Is their anything we can do to make the first session last longer?
I agree with almost everything everyone has said before me with exception of cloudnine1098 's last statement: "More foreplay before sex should help" This is NOT the case. More foreplay will invariably lead to a shorter round. Foreplay definitely helps the juices (both his and hers) get flowing, but if you want a longer first round, LESS foreplay is the way to go - at least foreplay from YOU to HIM. In other words, stay away from his special spot until YOU are ready. That way, you are nearer to the O and he is as far away from the O as possible - and hopefully you will meet in the middle and the universe will settle into one great harmonious place. Yes this is very normal. I do the same, a short first round and a very long second round. A lot of it is all mental. My girlfriend at the time enjoyed it that way cause it was like a warm up for her. She got off quick as well with the first one and then got ready for the longer more intense round. We almost always had two rounds though. Like I said it's mental. I have had three rounds in under 30 minutes and another time had a first round last almost an hour. Definitely do foreplay, but it is up to him to control his urge to finish quickly if you want a big first round.
It's normal, guys take awhile to recharge, and that's why the second time lasts a lot longer. If you want the first session longer, you should have to got at his pace. if he needs to go slower, let him. More foreplay before sex should help also.
