Well my opinion is that girls are "obsessed" with celebrities because they ARE as a matter of fact everywhere we look.
Imagine if YOU were in a plain white room.
No exit.
Totally empty.
Except from this one fly that buzzes around the whole entire room.
You'd find it hard to concentrate on much else yes?
Well that's an exaggerated perception on girls (in fact people in general) and celebrities, we're being suffocated, and there isn't anything anybody can do about it!
P.S... Tell me that you have lived one day this past week that you haven't thought about something that has happened to someone famous?
Reading about celebrities is a little escape for me. Ive noticed that when me and my boyfriend fight all I do is read magazines. It takes my mind off things and when I read about there problems it reminds me that I'm not the only one with issues.
I know that for me, celebrities are kind of like role models. I can look at someone who is really, or at least what I think, a great woman. Take Jennifer Aniston for instance. She is very pretty, has a really nice body, is a great actress, and is probably a funny person. I like to hear what she's doing and what's going on in her life because I look up to her. I also like to see what all the celebs are wearing because they have really nice clothes and always look great.

Hey before you get all angry, most women like that simply because its something that entertains us, just something to read or hear about, its good to hear how perfect people have messed up lives too, its weird but true1 why do men like cars so much hey those questions have billions of answers don't knock 'em;)
Celebrities are cool. They represent the peak of social value, so a girl that wants to be cool will value them. It's not much different than guys looking up to MJ or intellectuals digging Stephen Hawking. Just different levels of value.
It doesn't make sense intellectually anymore than a girl who wants to be the life of the party "thinks" intellectualism makes sense. Different value systems entirely.
True, there definitely seems to be something with celeb gossip and women. I can understand glancing at headlines while I'm waiting to buy my grocery's, but It's proven that half the stories are made up and most of the pictures are manipulated. It's a bit of a turn off when I see women obsess about celebrities. I wonder sometimesa, do these girls ever like to read about something useful to increase their knowledge?
Yeah, what's the deal with that? This celebrity craziness is all pervasive. I wish I could ignore it totally but whenever I'm at the grocery store I'm forced to read about it. These people live in insulated little bubbles completely separated from the real world. Their lives are of no consequence to me. As for being role models... why? They were simply born beautiful and got lucky.

What is your favorite outfit for a night out with friends?
A pair of Comfortable jeans, tight although somewhat baggy shirt. a pair of tennis shoes, unless flip flops go better with the outfit. a small but yet cute purse to carry all my things that I must have with me at all times. And maybe a jacket if it supposed to get cold.
How do you style your hair and do your make-up?
Maybe in a bun, but if I'm in a good mood ill let my hair down and straighten it. my make-up would have to be simple. Nothing over dramatical. A light pinkish-purple eyeshadow, dark blue eyeliner, lip gloss (cherry), and a light layer of cover up cause I don't want to cover all my natural look.

Just be careful that he isn't using you for sex. Otherwise, you've got plenty of time to search for the man you'll marry. For now, just have fun with the one you like.
It really depends on why he's having doubts... I would try and find out exactly why he wants to break up (you deserve to know at least), if its about something you both agree needs to be worked on...
