Ok so you know I've been writing in asking all thease questions about my ex and me we talk like evryday on com and whatnot and still are doing things togethr sex wise like once a week. Recently I have been hearing things like he still loves me and wants me back and all this again. And I am sooo in love with him still and was thinking of asking him to dinner. He agreed to dinner but I just don't know when we will go out. Maybe tomorrow or the next few days. I have planned out like what I wanted to do. I was going to pay for his dinner and everythig AND say that I miss him and see if we can try me and him as boyfriend and girlfriend again because I really love him.
I think dinner and all is fine but you want to be careful. There is a fine line between asking and begging when it comes to matters of the heart. Don't ask...suggest...In a relationship it is a mutual thing. You both have to want it. Have dinner and go some place quiet to talk things out. Start off by commenting on why you guys split up in the first place, then tell him that you miss him and you can both work those issues out if he would like to give it a try. Then tell him not to give you an answer right now but rather think about it and let you know later. By doing this you are not begging and you don't sound desperate.
I know you love him and want nothing more than to be with him night and day but it has to be mutual. You both have to give and take in a relationship. It can't be one sided. So if wants to make the effort and get back together then go for it, but don't force the issue at dinner. Just plant the seed and let it grow on his mind and then later follow up on it.
