I read about a study that said men and women both look for looks (because of "survival of the fittest"), then money (because they want to know someone can provide for them).
Personally, if it's between looks and money, looks are more important to me; I was taught to be independent and provide for myself before I rely upon anyone else. It's more important that a guy has goals than money.
Well, first impressions are always based on looks - bad or good. Then you get to know the person, and for me it really doesn't matter how much money he has, as long as he can take care of himself financially. And I actually dislike it when people try to buy me or my affection. In the end it's the personality... with the initial spark based on looks.
It depends on the girl.
