What would be the worst thing your boyfriend could say to you?

That makes more sense to me. For me, the worst things would be relating to things like what you mentioned - emotions, fears, anxieties, hopes. Anything that relates to how I am in my heart being questioned or dismissed as wrong just because she didn't see it the same way.

This question doesn't make sense. Do you mean the worst things he could say or the worst things that he does say and gets away with?

- I have an STD.
- Wow, your sister does that same thing with her pelvis.
- Where did the condom go?
- I thought you had the key to the handcuffs.

There really are thousands others,... but each of these would probably equally suck.

Once I was telling a boyfriend about how I wanted to do a City Year (volunteer work in an inner city area, typically). He told me I couldn't. I can't remember the exact words, but it was in such a way that it was clear that because he was the "man" (which is a loose definition of man if it's being applied to him...), he had decided it was too dangerous and was forbidding me to do it.

Later, we were having "discussions" about various things, and my arguments were just dismissed as less than his.

I cannot stand that AT ALL. If you treat me like that, it ends.

I think the worst thing your boyfriend could do is put you down.... Make you feel bad about yourself meaning fat, ugly, skinny, worthless, lazy etc. Their are so many bad things a person could say that just show a sign of un-appreciation. In the beginning of a relationship, you appreciate each other, however after a while, people in a relationship start to take each other for granted, this is when I think boyfriends tend to say the worst things, they don't realise how much they need you because their so use to having you...

So really, the worst thing a boyfriend could say I think, is something that makes you feel completely low about yourself and makes you feel unappreciated... Everyone should be appreciated, because everyone is unique in their own individual way...
