I'm always horrible when it comes to getting guys gifts. But I mean I want to get him something for his birthday and Valentine's day. I haven't the slightest idea at all though...Ugh.. Please I just want some advice.
You can give him a simple gift for each day. Make sure you give one for each. Just something that tells him how much you care for him. Even if its just nice cards. He will appreciate getting anything that tells him how you feel!
Mines on Christmas eve, and if anything DO NOT tie the two of them together. Do something small for valentines day maybe a small bear with a heart or a dog that says 'I WUV U' or something along those lines. Then put more emphasis on His birthday, make sure he knows that his day is not shadowed but this commercial holiday.

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My ideal first date... My girl and I will go to a formal resterant dressed in only our best cloths. I'll be wearing a white dinner tux with suede black and white shoes. We'll sit and talk about how we got to tonight thought the random events that brought us together. At the end of the night, I'll take her back home ending the night on her door step with a kiss on the back of her hand.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
By the end of the night my date will know I'm a strong minded gentlemen with pride and confedence in myself and repect for the person siting infront of me. She'll know my name, and know that it's worth gracing the virtue of her voice.
