Ok heres the thing I'm chubby so I don't think this can be an eating disorder but my friend was like your going to be in a eating disorder clinic to get treatment one of these days! which hurt me! I've had bulimia before and it was like a hobby. I found it fun and got a rush from it and it always made me feel better! But it kinda just stopped! I never told anyone about it because why would I?
I didn't want people thinking there was something wrong with me! only thing is now for the last two years I've being starving myself one week, making myself sick the next week, stuffing my face the next week, and then the next week restrict my calorie intake to 210 calories a day!! because of this as you can imagine my weight goes up and down each week..but dramatically like I'll lose 10 lbs in 1wk and put them on the next! It's like a circle that keeps going round and round that I'm in! But because of my friends comments about an eating disorder clinic its made me have to ask is this an eating disorder because I find it hard to be because I am chubby!
Try to stop doing what your doing its for your health
so what you need to do is go on a diet no soda, candy, and eating after 7pm. NO FRIED FOODS!! what you do is eat all the veggies and salads with all the water you want. but don't drench the salad in dressing. use a little bit. also eat fish and chicken that's good for you. also do a little bit of exercise be it swiming, jogging, boogy boarding. and that willm drop your weight safely
Yes, it is an eating disorder. Not all people who have bulimia are thin. The cycle you're putting your body through can potentially ruin your metabolism for life. Your body doesn't know when to expect food, because your intake is not regular. When you eat very little, your body will tend to hold on to the fat stores as much as possible, and when you start eating again, it will put on a lot of weight quickly.
What you're doing is extremely unhealthy, and it will damage your internal organs as well as eroding the linings of your esophagus and throat. If you hope to live a healthy life, you'll need to get this under control, either by yourself, or by seeking the assistance of a nutritional counselor.
But I feel as if nobody like my family a doctor etc are going to take me serious because iam chubby - 6 months ago

They will understand. If you're courageous enough to tell them about it, they won't doubt you. Most people would rather deny their eating disorder than reveal it. - 6 months ago

You've performed this routine for over two years. Regardless of what you think about what you're doing, it _is_ a disorder. Binging and purging is the typical cycle of a person who suffers from bulimia. Your friend was right. - 6 months ago
Just because you're chubby doesn't mean you CANT have an eating disorder...stop doing this...it IS dangerous....honestly...if you starve yourself and then eat... you gain weight because your body knows that its starving so it keeps everything you eat therefore making you pack on the pounds.....STOP IT!!!! please!!
Being chubby doesn't make it less of a disorder. When you do that to you body it is REALLY unhealthy. By eating less yes you do loose weight but it makes your body really weak and when you start eating normally again all that weight you've put off will just come back. The best way to loose weight is eat less carbs and more veggies.
Don't go back to throwing up. It's horrible for you. The fluids in your stomach hurt your throat and because they are digestive fluids it can start to eat away your throat.
I do think you have an eating disorder but I don't think it is the worst case. Stop starving your self and going on 210 calories a day. AND throwing up. Just stop eating sugars and carbs or cut back on them.
It sounds like an eating disorder, but you would have to see a doctor or a counselor for a definite answer to that. people think that if you have an eating disorder that you will be thin, but that is not always the case, especially with bulimia. I work in mental health, and can say from experience that the vast majority of the people that I have seen being treated for bulimia do not look like your stereotypical idea of someone with an eating disorder. Just because you haven't gotten the results you seem to be after doesn't mean that you don't have a problem. If I were you, I would seriously consider talking to a doctor or a counselor. And remember that often times, when we are hurt or angered by what our friends say about us, it's because we see truth in what they have said.
I don't know if you have an eating disorder but you should absolutely seek help. I was bulimic for 5 years when I was younger and I am honestly offended by your "it is a hobby" comment. Unless you are merely trying to get attention, which is possible...no one loses 10 pounds a week unless there are EXTREME circumstances...none of which can be taken lightly and punctuated with exclamation points.
You need to speak with a professional. I don't say this to be rude. Someone should push you to get help. If someone had pushed me, it would have saved a lot of time and pain.
It doesn't matter how much you weigh in regards to having an eating disorder. Look it up online and learn more. Don't just ask on this site. Do some homework on the topic and get help if you need it. Message me if you want to talk more.

I am 5'3" and was at 135 when I was bulimic. Ironically, now that I'm not, I weigh around 105. That was 10 years ago and when I did tell my parents, they did not believe me and ignored it. What I should have done was keep telling until someone helped. - 6 months ago

I would do a lot of things. Start out with an early dinner at a good pub. Then head out to see a good movie, afterwards heading to the clubs. Basically the goal is to get to know her in a variety of settings to find out what she's like.
Jeans and a sportjacket.
The date ends with us heading to her place or mine.
