Age doesn't really matter. I've dated guys 10 years older then me that acted younger then me. If there is an attraction it really doesn't matter.

Age is just a number. I've met many people who were very mature and were only 16-18, and I've also met people who were very childish who were in their late 20s & 30s. I wouldn't go as far to break any laws, but then my personal preference leans towards guys who look/sound like 'men' rather than 'boys.

I'm 19 and I picked b, but that doesn't mean I'd date someone who's 14 (5 year difference). I'd go for someone 5 years (max. ) older than me (24) :

Well I'm 22, so I don't want to go too much younger. But I would definitely go for someone older than me.

This is difficult to answer because age differences become less and less important the older both parties get. For example, my mom is 50 and my dad is 62. They were a perfectly acceptable couple when they married, however, when my dad was 18, my mom was 6. If an 18 year old and a 6 year old tried to go out, heads would roll!

One rule I heard that works most of the time is the "half + 7 rule." Basically, for a general area of what is acceptable, you take your age, divide it by 2, then add 7. This means than an 18 year old could comfortably date a 16 year old, a 30 year old could date a 22 year old, or a 50 year old could date a 32 year old. It gets a little more fuzzy the higher you get up, but it seems to work in most cases.

My age difference is four years MAX, and I'm VERY strict on the lower limit
I would date girls 19-23

It would be weird dating a high-school girl

I think age is just a number. I mean, if you're attracted to or care for someone, a number assigned to you by society shouldn't matter.

Funny to see how quite a few comments on the site revolves around "Age is just a numba" but when asked, close proximity seems more comfortable. I guess it is too early to tell whether this pattern will hold statistically significant, but if it was an older crowd, I wouldn't be surprised to see more votes in favor of a wider age gap if one at all. Great question by the way!

Standard internet creepyness rule:

Your age divided by 2, plus 7. So I'm 38/2 = 19 + 7 = minimum age I should be dating is 26. Of course by that same logic I'm ok up to age 60 so maybe I should re-think that. :^

Question Asker ;) if that were true I wouldn't be able to date a minimum age girl legally until next year. - 5 months ago
JeVousAime Actually. That's not bad! Well for me anyway - According to your logic, my minimum age is 14 and a half - so considering I'm 15 that's quite true as I believe age is much more of an issue when you're younger and close to the legal '16' mark. - 4 months ago

I'm 32 and she's 24. We work for the same company. We are definitely attracted to each other. Is that too much of an age difference to go any further?   View Answers

Guys: Do you really fall in love with a girl?
lvrgirl2011 asked Yesterday

Yes, I've been in love.

No, I've never been in love.

I'm scared to love someone.

LOVE is an over-used word that doesn't have meaning.

What is your favorite outfit for a night out with friends?
A really cute top probably from American Eagle. With nice tight jeans....for if we run into some guys. But yet something kinda comfortable.

How do you style your hair and do your make-up?
Normally always some eyeliner and mascara. Hair normally straight and down.

Do I have style?
