Guys (or girls): Long distance relationships?

I am about four hours from my girlfriend. she is three years younger than me. we have been together for a year and a half now. I have never cheated on her nor attempted to cheat on her. the only hard thing is being away from her. I don't go looking for anything else because she is worth waiting for. I know a lot of my friends have girls and they go looking for that fling. I don't feel that is the right thing to do. being with someone is making a promise to them. I'm a faithful guy. ive always been that way. I guess it can go either way. I don't like the one night stand thing at all.

I don't go philandering anyways. If I were in a relationship with someone I really loved/cared about deeply, I would be even less tempted to do it.

You pretty much answered your own question though. You don't want a fling, so don't do anything with this guy that you will regret.

I was in a long distance relationship once it lasted for a year. We had a lot of phone sex. But it was hard because he wasn't around. Its pretty common for guy or girl to hook up just for sex and not feel anything because they are waiting for their partner to come home. Doing that can destroy a relationship. Sometimes they just call it quits, other times when their partner comes back they have a lot of guilt. So really if someone is going to have a long distance relationship they got to put their all in it and be prepared to over power temptations.
