I have been wondering on what kind of birth control I want to use. I was thinking about taking the shot but my friend told me it can cause serious problems. So I've been thinking about the patch? Can someone help. What is more comfortable and easy to use besides just condoms.
The patch has been occasionally shown to cause blood clots. The pill is probably the best way to go, provided that you are responsible enough to take it exactly as you are supposed to.
I definitely say the pill. I went on the shot to avoid my period and I gained a lot of weight and one week a month I would get horrible cramps just not bleeding. I'm on the pill know its a pain to remember to take it but so much better.
There is this ring the doctors can insert in you. I don't remember what it is called. I take birth control pills. It works great for me. I took the shot once, it really didn't effect me just I didn't have my period for 3 months. The patch can irritate your skin. So really it is up to you and what you feel comfortable doing. Talk to your doctor about other options.
I think it's called a nuva ring or a neuva ring, something like that. IUD if you've already had a baby. If your def going to have sex, then be on birth control and take it responsibly, and use a condom every time, that's the most sure fire. - 6 months ago
The shot can cause problems from longtime use. I actually use the patch because I have a hard time remembering to take a pill everyday. The patch has it's goods and bads too. First off, it will probably irritate your skin. The actual patch feels like a band aid and sometimes starts to peel off before it's week is up. My suggestion to you, is talk to your health care provider and you will probably just have to start trying different forms and see what works best for you and your body. Good luck!
THE PILL is the safest most effective form of birth control. You just have to remember to take it. The shot will mess with your cycle but you don't have to take it every day only about 4 times a year. Condoms are not really reliable about 70% effective I don't know too much about the patch, but I would be worried about it not being very effective
ok I am gonna start taking birth control soon but my boyfriend is kind of worried that I won't get as wet down there anymore because he has had it...
