So there's this guy I was talking to for almost a year, and we decided to take a break, during our break he decided to take his ex to his prom because she asked him to her prom cause she knew that we weren't talking anymore, he didn't realize how depressed I was over this because I knew that she still liked him and wanted to get back together with him so I just tried to move on, anyways right before my sophomore banquet we decided to talk about it so we wouldn't be uncomfortable cause we were going together. We talked and his mom secretly talked to me and they reassured me that they were just going as friends. We went to sophomore banquet and we had a blast and everything ended perfectly and we both were really into each other. I was happy then, but now I feel sad because I know that he still has to go with his ex to junior prom, I still can't help but feel depressed because I know she's gonna try and put the moves on him, and she has 2 opportunities to do so, what should I do about it? I trust him, but I just don't trust her

If you can trust him then you don't need to worry about not trusting her. The fact is she probably will try it on but you know he will be having none of it. You could also see him the day after the prom and make sure you look hot so you can show him what he'd be missing out on if he did anything stupid.

Tell him you trust him. Tell him you are not overjoyed with the situation but understand. He is trying to be a good guy by living up to his commitments. You come out looking great by being understanding.

Unless he does something stupid with this other girl, in which case you have taken the high road and end up finding out he is a dog early enough to not get destroyed by that fact. Either way its a win-win for you let him know that you care but respect him enough to trust him in that situation.
