Okay, if you're with a girl for two months, and she tells you that she loves you, but you don't really feel that way just yet. How do you feel about the relationship? She tells you that she loves you, you explain you don't just yet and leave it at that. After all of that, what happens? Do you ever feel the need to draw away from her? I'm trying to prepare for the worst, haha. Honestly, I've never been in love before. I always used to date ass holes, but he and I are different. All the four months that I've talked to him, he's been amazing. I just don't want this to chase him away if I do decide to tell him.

The same thing happened to me. I didn't love my girlfriend at the time but I did really like her. It was good to know though because it meant she was dedicated to me and I could be more open and unprotected. Further down the line I fell for her and the rest is history.

Even after two months, you should be able to sense how he feels about you. Just wait until it feels right before telling him that. Don't try to force it. If you do tell him, and he's not sure, that still isn't the end of your relationship; he could still grow to love you, in time. That is, unless he is really paranoid about getting serious. Then you probably don't have a real chance of a steady relationship. This usually happens with guys who are serial daters or just players.

Question Asker It's not that he's a serial dater or anything like that. We actually had a big discussion about that because he used to be. He's getting his bachelors in college, he has a real job, and he's just trying to settle down. He said himself that we're serious. - 8 months ago

Many guys are different, he might say "I love you" back or tell you he doesn't feel the same. Some guys find that creepy during the early stages of a relationship, or they want to say it to you they're just waiting for you to say it first. If he's one of those who wants to say it and you know it then tell him, otherwise wait awhile before dropping the L word. Or this might be tricky but you could hint to him that you love him and see how he reacts if its good then say it, if not wait awhile.

Question Asker Yeah, I thought about attempting a hint, but I really don't know how to go about doing that. I'm not very creative, haha. - 8 months ago
