He's weak and trying to compensate by dominating someone else. He's bad news and not worth the effort of knowing.

Controlling guys can be dangerous. If he starts to make decisions all by himself, tells you what to do all the time, not only this will make him loose his respect for you but also will bring up many fights all the time when you do something intentionally or even unintentionally that he doesn't approve of.
On the other hand guys do like to be controlling, just the manhood I guess. As long as it's not extreme, I think girls should see that as "the man taking care of stuff" ;) I honestly think girls already like that anyway.

A-R-Norman I married my husband because he wasn't controlling--only insecure women want that--find a secure woman and you won't have to do that. Besides, being confident is not the same as being controlling, which is what women really want, and sometimes can't tell the difference between. My hubby is confident, but lets me be me... - 3 months ago

A man who needs to control woman has serious issues and need therapy--STAT! Run--fast.before he turns into a stalker who could beat you--or worse.

The news is filled with women who are killed by men like that. You deserve better.

Guys who need to control women probably need self validation. They feel good by controlling others. In general, I think guys that need to control women aren't worth the time.

Most relationships don't start out being controlling. My experience with controlling men is that they are usually the most charming and understanding - in the beginning. However, once they feel they have you hooked, they often do a 180 degree turn-around. If you EVER find yourself with one of these dominant control freaks, leave ASAP. These types get abusive fast. As someone else said, they are DANGEROUS.

Tip: do NOT move in with anyone you have known less than 6 months. It is much harder to leave if you live there. Listen to your gut feelings, more than his words. His words will only confuse you if he is a psycho control freak, in other words: a sociopath. You would be surprised how many men are like this - at least 1 in 10, according to the experts. Be careful. Be smart. Value yourself enough to protect yourself and your heart.

This can lead to bad situations, especially if you LET him control you. It can go to far into beatings and forcing you to do things.

They can be VERY DANGEROUS. They are severly insecure, untrusting and are trying to compensate.

Advice: How To Know You're In Love
Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 21 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
A day at the beach or pool , then a casual place for dinner, then for a walk on the beach to look at the stars. Then the hot tub back at my place.
I wear a little summer dress and you wear ripped jeans and a nice shirt.
Falling asleep talking and watching a movie.

Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
Anything he wants to. Except what I look like without my clothes on. We'll save that for the second date.

Would you date me?
