I want to believe I am the only one he wants. I want to believe that when he says he loves me, that he is truthful. But I have these nagging doubts. I catch him looking at the neighbor girls when they come and go. I catch him staring at the waitress when we go out. I've told him repeatedly that it hurts me and he gets angry and says something like, "is it ok to look in this direction?"
How can he be truthful about his love for me when he checks out girls when I'm right there with him? I feel like if I go away for the day that he may eventually sleep with one of these neighbor girls.. I don't want to have these thoughts. I love him so much it hurts. But I can't help it when he does this. It makes me feel like he's not being real with me at all.
1. Ask him how he would feel if you stare at other guys when you are with him.
2. You shouldn't have to tell him it hurts you. These acts of him tells you he is an insensitive guy (which he likely will remain). It also says he has no respect for you.
3. Ask your gut feelings to tell you if there is something wrong with your relationship. Trust those feelings.
4. The way he acts tell you the kind of upbringing (parents) he has, which you are NOT responsible for. Your happiness, though, is your responsibility.
5. Insensitivity to this level is indeed something to be concerned; you are probably sighting the tip of an iceburg only. Is he often late with appointments with, a) you b) others?
all guys check out girls if they are sneaky or as sly as othere is the diffrence don't worry if he cheats dump him but don't worry about itlll ruin everthing.
I like your response.. because I feel like if I worry, it will drive us both nuts.. I think more than anything I want to feel secure in what we do have.. 98% of the time he's great to me.. I think another part of it is because my last relationship ended due to the guy having an affair.. I'm just afraid of being hurt again like that..
