Their dying wish is to see you married, and you're not seeing anyone. What would you do? These parents have loved you since the day you were born and of course you've had fights but nothing serious. So what would you do? Just go out and find someone to marry? or forget about marrying someone, you're waiting till you find someone you really love
granted you can find someone you love and marry them before your parents die but lets forget about that
So what would you do?
Update: oh yea I forgot you guys don't do arranged marriages sorry...

when a parents dieing wish is to see their son or daughter get married, it's not about seeing them sign a marriage certificate with just anyone. They want to see their son or daughter, meet the love of their life and marry them. They want to know they have found the person for them, a person they can spend the rest of their life totally completely and madly in love with. So what would I do.
Get married, but only when I meet the person I fall head over heels for. That's what they wanted. Yes, they could die before they see me with this person, but that's how life goes.
While you are right on other situations, I disagree with the situation and your response. If they are dieing, I wouldn't want to laugh or make them laugh- It would lighten the mood with the right people; however, it would seem like I am making a joke of their death or that I am comfortable with them passing on. - 26 days ago
What if they did? then what would you pick? - 26 days ago

Then they wouldn't be loving parents and I wouldn't do jack sh*t. I'm not going to get married to someone quickly just because my parents want to see me married. why on earth would they want me get tangled up in such a mess? but to answer your question, if they were that stubborn and didn't see how negative it would be for me and it was their dying wish, I still wouldn't do it. - 26 days ago
Yea its a long story and this question just popped in my head - 26 days ago

Why would I do that? - 26 days ago
Answerer
The reason you would do that is because of how you feel. Do you agree with how I feel? If so - you would mark this as the best answer because of that feeling. That way people can see how you, the question asker, feel about the subject and what you thought was the best answer. - 26 days ago

(continued) detailed, rather than just a "blunt answer". Also, I have had this situation happen before- my best friend and I were talking about 3 years ago about getting married before the other dies, or we will fade away into a "zombie" persona.
Well, she got in a bad car accident and now she is watching over me - I wasn't ready to marry someone, though I did consider the situation heavily. - 26 days ago
