This question is for both men and women. I know I haven't had many crazy romantic things happen, despite a surprise birthday trip to LA to see one of my best friends. What is the most romantic thing your guy/girl has ever done for you?
You know, I may be off base here but I'm willing to guess that you will get more responses from girls that from guys. It appears that the romantic part of a relationship is left to the guys. And it may even be a learned behavior. For example, who is the person who has to propose marriage? Nowadays, guys are racking their brains trying to come up with a romantic way that no-one has ever done to propose to their girl. Who gives the flowers, or plans the picnic, or buys all that chocolate on Valentines day. Romance appears to be up to the guy. And it sucks!
I agree, romance is generally left to the guy. But has your girlfriend ever done something really sweet for you, like for a birthday or something? - 7 months ago

Sorry to say but nothing stands out. Although I would certainly welcome such a gesture. Girls suck at romance:) I have received many gifts from her, a lot of them were surprises, and brought a smile to my face. But I don't equate this as being romantic. I can buy my own stuff. - 7 months ago

My ex fiance told me that he was going to be in Buffalo, NY for a week. I was upset because I wanted to see him very much. At 7AM on the morning he was supposed to leave, he snuck into my apartment and woke me up with a kiss! He never went to Buffalo and we cut classes together all day :)
I've walked on the beach during sunset. His taking me to the highest metro point in melbourne to watch the stars. He organized a surprise birthday for my 19th and ordered a cake with a picture with us on it then gave me a promise ring in front of everybody. I've received written letters with meaning from him. His taken me to far away places just to have a picnic. Bought me presents or taken me somewhere on every special occasion. Hhhmmm. If I had the time, I could remember more.
My first love was an unexpected sweet 14. Of course, you hear the saying "love is bittersweet". Well it is but the person I fell in love with is shockingly incompatible. I met him online, fell...
I got out of my office in a hurry. The elevator was busy as usual. I clicked on the up and down arrows couple of times. The arrows did not seem to care. It was the typical "leaving the office"...
