i have this friend since like last 4 yrs... never looked upon him in that way.. But he kind of turned into a flirt.. he called me his girlfriend and I called him my boy friend.. just for fun we weren't going out or anything, we weren't even close friends.. he shifted else where and we were less in touch... bu recently we're in so good contact that he once told me I'm one of his closest friend's.. we both joke around flirt... I tell him a lot about myself, I never get any bad responses like he's busy or something, he treats me well. I guess he's this courteous with everyone but he did tell me he likes talking to me when he was even busy he continued talking to me... and we talked for almost 5 hrs online even thought he had an exam to come soon one day I played a prank with him telling him I really like him and he's the one I like since 4 yrs.. first he didn't believe but I reacted in such a way that he had to... he told me that he's coming back to visit us some time soon and it won't be worth not meeting me and things will be too messed up... so he requested not to mess up anything... That left me thinking he'll never like me. After when I told him I was just kidding and he told me he was really freaked out and serious because we're really good friends, that made me feel I like him. he also complimented me that I have changed a lot in a very good way, looks and talking wise both, he has this flirty nature which makes others like him wherever he goes. That makes me jealous for quite long, and I stay burning unless I get to talk to him and he makes me feel good too. Others have noticed the way we talk to each other and they say we're lucky to have each other as such good friends. and some one misunderstood I like him, which is actually true. But they told me if he finds out things will be disastrous i really don't ever want things to mess up between both of us, he's coming back soon and I'm sure we'll be spending a lot of time together. How do I control my feelings for him, how do I hide them? I'm happy to have him as my good friend only, it OK as long as we're together this way.
