Close friends vs good friends?

Well, I wouldn't know this too well since I don't have a lot of female friends, but I have friends that are like this, they kind of consider friends with benefits, if its just sex wise, but if its a real good friend, its usually another guy that we can talk to anything about, since there's a line in which what you talk to girls about, and a good friend (usually a guy sometimes a girl) ends up listening but a close friend would be someone they knew over the years, a good friend is one that would take the bullet for you, and I think friends that you just have sex with are just bang buddies.
